U.S. Cellular Associates Clean Princeton City Park on Earth Day

On Earth Day — and every day — U.S. Cellular associates are committed to improving our communities through volunteerism. In celebration of Earth Day 2013, the U.S. Cellular associates in Princeton volunteered to clean up Princeton City Park on April 22. Associates enjoyed working together to help maintain the park for local children and families.

U.S. Cellular also keeps the environment in mind at its retail stores, which have been equipped with energy-efficient ceramic metal halide lighting that reduces energy consumption by 25 percent as compared to traditional halogen lighting. Additionally, more than 90 percent of all computers, equipment and appliances in U.S. Cellular stores are ENERGY STAR products designed to reduce environmental impacts caused by excessive energy use. Products with recycled content, such as carpet, ceilings and furniture, are also used to furnish all stores.
