U.S. CELLULAR ANNOUNCES NEW 4G LTE SERVICE NOW AVAILABLE IN LEXINGTON AND NATURAL BRIDGE STATION

  LEXINGTON, Va. – U.S. Cellular (NYSE: USM), in conjunction with its partner, King Street Wireless, announced that Lexington residents now have new access to 4G LTE services. In 2015 the company is adding more than 600 4G LTE cell sites across the country, and expanding existing 4G LTE service in 10 states. By the end of the year, 98 percent of U.S. Cellular customers will have access to 4G LTE speeds. U.S. CELLULAR ANNOUNCES SIGNIFICANT INVESTMENT IN 4G LTE NETWORK AND RETAIL STORES IN VIRGINIA FOR 2013

Company invests $20 million overall across the state FARMVILLE, Va. --  U.S. Cellular upgraded the wireless experience for its Virginia customers in 2013 by investing $9.6 million in 4G LTE network enhancements across the state. Currently, nearly 90 percent of U.S. Cellular customers have access to 4G LTE speeds that are up to 10 times faster than 3G and similar to a cable Internet connection. The company also invested $9.8 in upgrades to its existing high-speed network in Virginia. U.S. Cellular is dedicated to the local communities it serves, so in addition to network enhancements, U.S. Cellular invested $1 million in Virginia to upgrade its in-store experience with a high-engagement design that makes shopping an easy and enjoyable experience.
