Mayor Jim Manilla joined U.S. Cellular and the Mountaineer Boys & Girls Club Monday, March 12, to announce the winners of the carrier’s 3rd Annual Black History Month Art Contest at the Boys & Girls Club at 300 Court Street in Morgantown, W.Va. “This contest is a creative way for us to celebrate our rich and diverse culture with Morgantown children,” said Mayor Manilla. “I am happy to be part of this year’s celebration and am delighted to announce the winners.” During the month of February, club members were invited to select an influential African- American and develop his or her likeness into an original 8.5 x 11 portrait using any art medium.
