This Week Marks the 30th Anniversary of Americans with Disabilities Act
This week marks the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, signed into law July 26, 1990 by President George H.W. Bush. The act provides prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life. On this note, U.S. Cellular, the 4th largest wireless provider in the United States, announced that it earned a top score of 100% on the 2020 Disability Equality Index® ( DEI ) and has been named a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.
