$20,000 Vacation Sweepstakes National Winner from Sprout Springs, Virginia

Sadler is the national winner of UScellular's $20K Vacay Sweepstakes.   Reese Sadler, the winner of the $20,000 Vacation Sweepstakes, was presented with a giant $20,000 check at a special celebration held at UScellular Authorized Agent ANW Wireless in Appomattox on Saturday, March 23.  The sweepstakes was part of a campaign from UScellular that encourages people to take a break from devices and celebrate human connection over digital use called US Mode . The contest encouraged people across the country to stop scrolling and start dreaming for the chance to win a distraction-free, $20k vacation to their dream destination to connect with family and friends. Entries were received May 6, 2023, through January 31, 2024. UScellular customers and non-customers ages 18 and older were eligible to enter and no purchase was necessary. VOTING BEGINS IN LYNCHBURG FOR FOURTH ANNUAL BLACK HISTORY MONTH ART CONTEST FROM U.S. CELLULAR

Vote in U.S. Cellular Stores Feb. 1 – Feb. 28 LYNCHBURG, Va. – The top 10 drawings from U.S. Cellular’s Fourth Annual Black History Month Art Competition with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Lynchburg are now on display in area retail stores. Local community members are encouraged to visit select local U.S. Cellular stores to vote on their favorite piece of artwork. In January, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Lynchburg members created original artwork in recognition of influential African-Americans, including business people, sports figures, historical figures and celebrities. The 10 finalists’ artwork was chosen by representatives from the Boys & Girls Clubs. Those creations will be displayed in U.S. Cellular stores through Feb 28, and anyone 18 and older is encouraged to visit the stores to vote for their favorite. U.S. Cellular offering cellphone-charging stations, places to “plug in” during tornado cleanup in Appomattox

In an effort to aid residents with the tornado cleanup, U.S. Cellular is offering phone charging station and “loaner” cellphones to make calls at area stores in Lynchburg, Appomattox and Fluvanna county.
