Local UScellular Asks Area Youth Groups in Need of Funding to Join a Call April 8

Wireless Carrier Provides Maryland Community Support Detailing how K-12 Groups can Raise up to $1,000 for Academic, Arts, Sports and Other Extra-Curricular Activities   For the seventh year in a row, youth-focused organizations in their local communities can earn up to $1,000 through UScellular’s Community Connections program. U.S. Cellular Presents Nicolas County Career and Technical Center in Craigsville with $1,000 Sponsorship on April 18

Va.  – Richwood Middle School in Nicholas County received more than $600 for technology needs through U.S. Cellular’s “Community Connections” program.  Richwood Middle School signed up to receive sponsorship dollars from U.S. Cellular at www.pearup.com/uscellular and then rallied their neighbors, friends and family to earn points that were converted into money for iPad devices. “Organizations like Richwood Middle School are at the heart of our communities.
