VOTING STARTS FOR U.S. CELLULAR'S BLACK HISTORY MONTH ART CONTEST                Residents Choose Winners by Voting for Their Favorite Portraits Created by Local Children in Feb. ROANOKE, Va. -- Voting has started for U.S. Cellular’s Black History Month Art Contest in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia.  Club members were encouraged to research and learn more about African-American role models and their important contributions to society.  And then create and submit an original 8.5 x 11 portrait representing the figure of their choice using any art medium from any point in history, including present day.
