Paw Paw, W. Va. (Nov. 16, 2015) – A new U.S. Cellular tower at 1545 Paw Paw Rd. in Paw Paw, W. Va., has brought high-quality voice and wireless broadband service to residents in the area for the first time. U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and U.S. Cellular are celebrating the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the tower site today. “With this new tower, Paw Paw and nearby communities have access to high-speed internet that can power our economy and harness the entrepreneurial spirit of many West Virginians. The event is being held at the new tower site and is open to the public. Salem Super Fans Featured in U.S. Cellular “A Season of Tradition” Documentary

SALEM, Va. – People know better than to sit behind the student section at Salem High School football games. Not only are they excellently organized with seniors in the front and freshmen in the back, they stand, make noise, shoot silly string and use instruments to make even more noise. The Salem Super Fans have a long tradition of cheering on their team, and last month that tradition was immortalized in a documentary video as part of U.S. Cellular’s “A Season of Tradition” program. “We are a tight-knit community here in Salem, and we love coming together for our team on Friday nights,” said Scott Habeeb, principal at Salem High School. “I am excited to see how this documentary inspires our players, students, faculty and city to rally around and support each other not only through athletics, but in everyday life.” After learning of the Salem fan tradition, U.S. Cellular chose the school for one of its “A Season of Tradition” documentary videos.
