U.S. Cellular will host a back-to-school ice cream social Thurs., Aug. 30, from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at the Farmville retail store located at 227 Sunchase Blvd., Farmville, Va. 23901. This event is free and open to the public. At the event, U.S. Cellular will host an ice cream sundae party for children, parents, and everyone else that enjoys sweets. The store will set up an ice cream bar with a variety of candy and toppings. This will be a great way to beat the heat and celebrate the first days of school. She has 12 years of wireless phone experience with U.S. Cellular and is a native of the greater Summersville area. Brandi began her leadership journey with U.S. Cellular working at the Summersville Walmart in September 2000. She was named sales manager in 2004 and promoted to store manager in September 2008. U.S. Cellular Launches New Campaign to Help Those in Dysfunctional Wireless Relationships A study by U.S. Cellular (NYSE: USM) indicates that 43 percent of individuals are in the “seven year itch” phase with their wireless provider, noting they are comfortable but suspect they are missing out on something better. Out of the 1,208 participants polled across four regions of the country, 56 percent of the respondents admitted to being unhappy with their carrier over the past year but only 35 percent of all respondents have ever broken up with their provider. In spite of this overall dissatisfaction, respondents are hesitant to call it quits. It’s no secret that people are frustrated with their wireless experience, but people tolerate less because they don’t believe there is a better option.
