U.S. Cellular Hosts Back-to-School Community Ice Cream Social in Farmville

U.S. Cellular will host a back-to-school ice cream social Thurs., Aug. 30, from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at the Farmville retail store located at 227 Sunchase Blvd., Farmville, Va. 23901. This event is free and open to the public.

At the event, U.S. Cellular will host an ice cream sundae party for children, parents, and everyone else that enjoys sweets. The store will set up an ice cream bar with a variety of candy and toppings. This will be a great way to beat the heat and celebrate the first days of school. Grownups and those young at heart are also invited to take a break from work or come for happy hour to eat ice cream and visit with friends, neighbors and other businesses.

“U.S. Cellular is pleased to host this ice cream social, which is just one of the ways we provide the best customer experience,” said Dana Dorcas, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in the Mid-Atlantic. “From offering the only points-based reward program in the industry to new devices faster without re-signing contracts, we treat every customer like a neighbor, not a number.”

U.S. Cellular will offer free goodies, giveaways and in-store promotions for both new and current customers at the event. For more information, please contact the store at 434-315-8722.
