WIRELESS ACCESSORIES MAKE FUN, AFFORDABLE HOLIDAY GIFTS

U.S. Cellular Offers Gift Ideas to Help Shoppers Stay Connected Within Holiday Budget

’Tis the season to make your holiday shopping list. After all, the average shopper purchased 14 gifts and spent $935 during the last holiday season, according to WebsiteSetup’s Holiday E-Commerce Shopping and Marketing Statistics for 2016. Smartphones are always among the hottest holiday gifts, and you can count on wireless carriers offering deals on the latest devices from Apple, Samsung and LG throughout the holiday season.

In addition, wearable technology has become more affordable, fashionable, smaller and popular. U.S. Cellular’s annual consumer survey indicated that one in three consumers owned a wearable connected device, while about 40 percent were likely to purchase one within the next year.¹ And while the survey found that cases and chargers are the most frequently purchased accessories, there are a variety of other tech items that make fun and useful holiday gifts for the whole family.

“Technology and wireless devices are an integral part of our lives and make great holiday gifts,” said Nathan Waddell, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in the Mid-South, "U.S. Cellular is offering great holiday deals on a variety of wearable technology and accessories that can bring holiday cheer to your family and friends.”

U.S. Cellular recently introduced Accessories Installment Pricing, which allows customers who purchase at least $120 in accessories to conveniently pay for them on their bill over 12 months, interest free. Here are some recommended wireless gift ideas to keep friends and family connected, while helping shoppers stay within their holiday budget:

• Under $30 – JLab JBuddies Studio Kids Headphones or eKids Frozen Headphones make great stocking stuffers for the kids on your list, while a Ventev Fast Charge car charger is a great present for driving teens and adults.

• Under $70 – Audio enthusiasts can jam out with JBL E15 Earbuds or a JLab Crasher Mini Bluetooth Speaker, and heavy users can stay charged up this holiday season with a Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Charging Stand or iWalk Scorpio Portable Charger.

• $100 - $200 – Make your home a “Smart Home” with the Google Home or Amazon Echo (2nd Generation). Both operate by the sound of your voice, and can be used to play music, get news and weather updates or answer questions. These Smart Speakers can also control compatible devices such as lights, thermostats and switches.

• $300 and Up – Help friends and family track their fitness goals and sync their favorite playlists right on their wrist with Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS) or a Samsung Gear S3 Classic.
