The :DP SmileMeter*, a national survey which polls Americans about their thoughts on health and dental issues, uncovered a few facts about kissing as well:

Kiss Me Good Morning– 24 percent of people kiss their partner before rolling out of bed in the morning. Women are 9 percent more likely than men to initiate this early morning peck.

Dragon Breath – Does bad breath matter? Well, a quarter of respondents seem to think so as they like to wait until after they brush their teeth to plant one on their honey. More specifically, 23 percent of women would brush first and 25 percent for men.

Just Can't Wait – But some men just can’t wait to brush their teeth before kissing their sweetie. 13 percent will get out of bed in the morning just to rush back and smooch their partner before they make it to their toothbrush.

Maybe Later – Do you think your love can wait? While others like to show affection early on, 15 percent on average don't kiss until later in the day according to the survey.
