U.S. Cellular Offers Free Charging Stations at Local Stores in Beckley, Fayetteville, Lewisburg, Princeton & Summersville

As area residents continue to recover from the impact of weekend storms that left millions in the region without power, U.S. Cellular is providing charging stations at its retail stores throughout the area.

Residents can power up their cell phones, make complimentary phone calls to loved ones and access the Internet.

U.S. Cellular customers can also switch out their dead or dying cell phone batteries for a fully charged one for free through the company's industry-leading Battery Swap program.

All area stores have power with the exception of the Fayetteville store. The store will still be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily to sell and exchange batteries and cell phone chargers, despite the lack of power. (While Supplies Last)

"Our top priority is making sure we are here for our customers when they need us," said Dana Dorcas, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in the Mid-Atlantic. "That's why we've opened our stores to meet the needs of our neighbors with free charging stations and Internet access."
