U.S. Cellular Launches New Campaign to Help Those in Dysfunctional Wireless Relationships A study by U.S. Cellular (NYSE: USM) indicates that 43 percent of individuals are in the “seven year itch” phase with their wireless provider, noting they are comfortable but suspect they are missing out on something better. Out of the 1,208 participants polled across four regions of the country, 56 percent of the respondents admitted to being unhappy with their carrier over the past year but only 35 percent of all respondents have ever broken up with their provider. In spite of this overall dissatisfaction, respondents are hesitant to call it quits. U.S. Cellular Offers Free Charging Stations at Local Stores in Beckley, Fayetteville, Lewisburg, Princeton & Summersville

As area residents continue to recover from the impact of weekend storms that left millions in the region without power, U.S. Cellular is providing charging stations at its retail stores throughout the area. Residents can power up their cell phones, make complimentary phone calls to loved ones and access the Internet. U.S. Cellular customers can also switch out their dead or dying cell phone batteries for a fully charged one for free through the company's industry-leading Battery Swap program. All area stores have power with the exception of the Fayetteville store. The store will still be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily to sell and exchange batteries and cell phone chargers, despite the lack of power.
